Hey folks, uploaded some new build containing some bug fixes thanks to the swift and detailed bug reports from Neutronio Games. Thanks so much :D
Bug Fixes:
- Made some of the super unforgiving jumps more forgiving. Don't want people getting stuck just traversing the map!
- Fixed bug where max hp wasn't resetting back to the initial value after dying.
- Fixed bug where the player resets to the "fresh start" area after dying in test mode. Now you'll reset to the test area with all weapons and upgrades :)
- Fixed pathfinding bug that was causing the exploding cherubs to fly through the walls in the secret rooms.
- Fixed bug where the gold value in the main HUD wasn't updating after spending gold at the workbench.
- Somewhat improved the generation of the dark cover tiles for the secret rooms. Their integration with the main tilemaps is still buggy though, so this is only an improvement and not a total fix.
- I think (I hope) I fixed the resource loading issue from the very first build that was causing level scenes to load incorrectly. I've included two builds this time round. A Release build and a Debug build. The issue was present in the Release build and hopefully isn't anymore, but it still needs more testing. I've included a Debug build for people who run into the issue on the Release build but still want to play, which should be free of the issue and Godot handles Debug and Release builds differently.
